Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Holistic Nutrition Practitioner?
A Holistic Nutrition Practitioner looks at WHY you are presenting with the symptoms that you are struggling with. I very much believe your body wants to heal and always strives to be in balance. Uncomfortable symptoms are your body’s way of talking to you and it is my job to work with you to understand your body and what it needs. I do this by using an extensive questionnaire that highlights out of balance systems in the body as well as utilizing HTMA testing to further individualize a protocol for you.

What is an HTMA?
Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) is a functional test used to provide a unique cellular reading of the mineral and heavy metal levels in your body. By analyzing small samples of recent hair growth, you can get a snapshot of what your body has been exposed to and what it is eliminating through the hair. This data is valuable for prioritizing which diet and lifestyle strategies will be most effective for addressing your bio-individual needs.
Your unique mineral status will give me valuable information about your thyroid, adrenals, your body’s state of stress, your metabolic type, blood sugar regulation, and so much more! An HTMA test may just be the missing puzzle piece for you!
*The HTMA is not a diagnostic test and is for informational purposes only. Holistic Nutrition Practitioners do not diagnose, treat or cure disease but we do look at things from a root cause perspective and provide strategic guidance to help get your body back on track.
